Selling IP Speakers since 2004, we were early adopters of the PoE (Power Over Ethernet) standard. We were providing audio over Ethernet before most, and were one of the first, if not the first, provider of PoE IP loudspeakers. Our technology is mature and long proven, which has facilitated a low cost stable product with a rich set of features. We have the know-how to handle a wide variety of network situations and can entertain custom requests.

Having sold thousands before others even got started, we also have an advance on economies of scale, quality and the agility needed to add other features or introduce new products into the marketplace.

Technology

Advanced Network Devices (AND) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Digital Design Corporation (DDC), who traffics in sophisticated multi-media applications. AND has full access to DDC’s rich engineering pool and world class video and audio technology.

AND has a rich technology base:

• Audio compression technologies (speech and audio codecs).
• Video compression technologies (MPEG2, MJPEG, h.264, lossless codecs).
• Video processing technologies (image enhancement, detail extraction, tracking, detection, security, etc.).

• Audio and video recording technologies (AND’s parent company makes embedded video/audio/data recorders).
